Diamond Tools Since 1960

Nord Srl was founded in one of the most important granite districts in Italy (Val d'Ossola). We are specialized in cutting granite and other stone materials. Thanks to market demand (Italian and foreign) and decades of experience, our products offer optimal performance also for other materials such as concrete, asphalt, ceramics and porcelain stoneware, refractory materials. The continuous and tireless search for innovation leads La Nord to the creation of products suitable for processing new materials increasingly present on the market such as agglomerates.

  • 1960

    Lino Dellapiazza founds “La Nord” in Val d'Ossola, a company specialized in the production of stone cutting tools.

  • 1970

    A new production phase begins for the company with the production of tools for the following sectors: general construction, asphalt, ceramics and refractory materials.

  • 1980

    The corporate structure changes. “La Nord Srl” is born. Paola, Lino’s daughter, joins the company and becomes its administrator.

  • 1990

    “La Nord Srl” supplies and collaborates with large multinational tool brands.

2025

The value of Made in Italy. The majority of companies in the sector decide to devalue the finished product by purchasing it from Asian countries or by relocating the production plant to Eastern Europe. Nord Srl, on the other hand, understanding the difficulties of the historical period, decides to invest in a Made in Italy product by expanding the sales network. The only strategic objective does not fail: to create a specific product for each type of customer, aware that history will prove us right.

MADE IN ITALY

The diamond segments are entirely pre-printed, sintered and welded in Italy thanks to the experience in the sector gained in over 60 years of history .

COMPONENTS MADE IN EU

Asian markets? No thanks. Although the extra-EU market offers low-cost products, the added value of La Nord Srl products consists in the purchase of raw materials exclusively from European companies (Italian and German). The diamond, binding powders and steels are of European origin.

MARK OSA

Diamond discs and flexible tools are marked oSa, (international organization for the safety of abrasives). The oSa mark guarantees consumers La Nord Srl the use of products with the highest ISO quality certifications and EN safety standards.

PRODUCT LIABILITY INSURANCE

All La Nord Srl products are covered by RC products insurance so that the end consumer is protected from any accidents during the use of the tool. This additional service guarantees the seller and the end consumer a greater guarantee.

STEEL QUALITY

TOP Quality of Steels Made in EU – Essential steel for the cutting and processing process. All "La Nord srl" steels are tensioned and ratified before sale to the final consumer.
